Ready, Set, GO!

Several years ago I got on a roll and was so excited to put together a craft room/office.

This was my space.  I loved it.  You all know what it's like to have your spot.

I was busy creating, blogging, tinkering.

Then life happened and I had to move out of my space to make room for beloved family members.

My "stuff" was boxed up and moved to the garage with a promise that it wouldn't be long.

That was 3 years ago!

Now, I am standing at the ready to move back in to this spot, set to get back into the grove of creating, blogging and tinkering.

And GO! It's time to open up those boxes and put this space back together!

Will it look like this again?  Probably not, it'll be new and fun and I can't wait to share the updates with you all.

I am so excited to be joining, for the first time,
Karen from My Desert Cottage,  She is hosting
'Where Bloggers Create'  and has been for 8 years now.  I've admired many creative spaces through her party.
Last fall I had Karen help me with my blog and she invited me to join.  I remember feeling like I couldn't because I didn't have a "where bloggers create" space.  I've been using my dining room table and heaven knows no one wants to see that!  So I hope you don't mind that I shared a what used to be with hopes of what will soon be!

  1. I am excited for you. I completely understand. One of my children moved back home temporarely a few years ago and Had to sleep on the sofa because I did not want to give up my studio space. I had waited 20 yrs for my studio and he was so gracious in understanding which made me love him all the more.

    1. Hopefully there won't be a next time, but if there is, I will stand my ground and not move out. I did then because there were little people involved. Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Yep there is nothing like having a creative space. I have the need to create everyday, or teach someone else to get their craft on. Wish you the best of luck getting it all back together. I moved last year to a different house and it took a while to get it all put together in a new space. I finally have it so it works really well for crafting, sewing, scrapbooking, and teaching.

  9. I think it is wonderful that you are getting your creative space back, Jocelyne! Even though it is a huge endeavor to move our creative space "stuff," it can really be beneficial, I think. My reason for moving our of my space was for a completely different reason than yours, but it is really helpful to go through each and every box and bin, purge & sort, and find new ways to make your space work even better than it was before. At least that was how it worked for me, and I hope it's the same for you.

Thank you for visiting my creative space and leaving a sweet comment!

    Happy Weekend!

    1. I did play in my dining room, which just wasn't good because many times I had to put everything away before I completed a project. I'm sure you understand how frustrating that could be. But, yay! That's all changing now!

  16. I think we can ALL relate. I have wanted to join this party each year, and I have moved in June for the last four years (including this year) and have no space to show. But, like you, I am hoping that my new space will be one I can share next time, and until then I am enjoying looking at all the other lovely creative spaces each one of these ladies has made for herself! Thank you for sharing your used to be space and the joy of your new to be space. I wish you all the best,
